So while looking on one of my favorite websites this morning, I stumbled upon this article about Iranian women. In case some of you haven't been keeping up with the news, there have been earthquakes all over the world, apart from the one in Haiti (China, California, etc). This situation going on in Europe with the volcano is another testament to the natural disasters going on in the world.

Anywho, I found it funny that the men in Iran blamed their women for all of the earthquakes of their country, which is prone to earthquakes anyway. The same women that bear their children and abide by their strict rules of dress and "feminine behavior." I also think it's interesting that women are blamed for the men's inability to suppress their primitive desires. If men cannot control themselves around the opposite sex, isn't that their own problem? Maybe I missed something here.

Check it out. The article is short and sweet. Inspect the comments below though, especially the one questioning what this article has to do with black people. Food for thought. If we want to be respected by the outside world, shouldn't we know what's going on in it?
